Privacy Policy

Plain language on purpose. This describes what the platform actually does — when practice changes, this page changes first.

No ad tracking, because no ads

NTV shows no advertising, so there is no ad tech here: no third-party trackers, no profile built to sell your attention, no data brokers. The business model is tips and subscriptions, not you.

What we collect

An account is an email address, a display name, and a password hash. Watching a stream sends an anonymous heartbeat so creators see a real viewer count. Chat messages are stored with the account that sent them. Standard server logs (IP, request, time) exist for abuse prevention and debugging and are not mined for anything else.

Payments

Tips and subscriptions check out through Square. Your card details go to Square, not to NTV — we never see or store them. Square's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

What we share

Nothing is sold, rented, or shared for marketing — there is nobody to share it with. Data leaves the platform only when the law compels it, and illegal content is reported as the law requires.

Deletion

Ask and your account and its data are deleted. Recordings you published are yours; delete them whenever you want.
