Start streaming
Create a channel from studio, point OBS at NTV, and you're live. Early access hosting is on the house while this is being built in public.
What it costs, up front
Said here rather than buried, because being surprised by pricing later is exactly what this platform is supposed to not do.
- Viewers pay nothing and never see an ad. That part is permanent.
- Creators cover their own bandwidth through CypherCast — one flat monthly fee that also gets you multi-streaming to Twitch, YouTube, Kick and Rumble, unified chat, and alerts. Your NTV channel is included.
- Your earnings never touch us — subs, gifts and tips settle to you, not into an NTV balance.
- During early access, hosting is on the house while the platform is still being built in public.
1 · Create a channel
Make an NTV account, then open studio. The channel name defaults to your username.
2 · Point OBS at NTV
Settings → Stream → Service: Custom
- Server
rtmp://rtmp.ntv.nyptid.com:1935/live- Stream key
yourchannel?user=yourchannel&pass=YOUR_KEY
Studio shows the exact key. Don't share it — anyone with it can publish to your channel.
3 · Encoder settings that work
- Keyframe interval: 2 seconds. Not 0 / auto. Segments are cut on keyframes; a long GOP breaks playback.
- Bitrate: 6000 kbps or less for 1080p60. Higher just costs bandwidth without looking better.
- Profile: high, tune: zerolatency.
Your channel lives at ntv.nyptid.com/yourchannel— it works whether you're live or not, and the player appears the moment OBS connects.
